Invoice PDF downloaded file wont generate Thai language characters (2)

The one online is fine, but once it’s downloaded the Thai characters wont generate. See image for example.

Multi language site: Thai – English
Espresso Version: ee4.4.3.p
Wordpress Version: 4.0

Please let me know how to fix this.

Hi,

The short answer is not easily.

The problem is that we use DOMPDF to generate the PDF files and the version in use does not allow for non latin fonts easily. There current latest version which is in Beta, supposedly makes this easier.

However, I spent some time with this and so far have been unable to generate none latin characters in the PDF file.

I’m going to run this past a developer for their thoughts and will get back to you.
