Hi, thanks in advance for anyone even taking the time to read this π
The site I’m creating is a membership fee based website that then provides free events to members. I’d like to have the user when they purchase a membership put in their address and all that information (since its required for payment) but then not have them have to fill that in again when they are reserving the free events.
I have the add-on for integration as well, just no idea what to put on the registration forms or what I need to do for that info to save and to carry over.
Thanks again, I hope that made at least a little sense π
The WP User Integration plugin adds some extra fields to the users profile (namely the address fields).
When the plugin is active and the users is logged in, and info in the address fields (plus name and email) will be copied over to the registration forms.
You are best using the default Personal Info and Address question groups provided with Event Espresso though you are free to modify these by adding questions or better yet use new question groups.
For future reference, custom questions (e.g. date of birth etc) will not be auto filled.
The question of how to get that info filled in at site registration is a little difficult, it depends on your registration system. Some may pick up on the fact that there are additional fields in the profile page and some may not, you would need to investigate that further.
Thanks for your response. I have EE Member addon Version 1.9.8.b currently running and activated (I also deleted the other version of the Member addon) In the profile section it is not asking for the address fields or any additional outside of Username, Email, first and last name, display name and pw. How would I go about getting that to work?
@Jason Lee how were you able to accomplish that? Do you mind sharing few pointers?
