Hi, for a project of tour guides of a natural park, i need a system of checking the availability of the guides when i insert some event in a calendar; for example, for the 10 July, there will be a tour guide in a section of the park, i will insert the event in the calendar, and the system mail all the user (tour guides) inserted in the database, by email.
At this point the user, can log in the site and check or not his availability for the event.
The admin can see the calendar with the event and the number or name of the user that are available.
So i need the following function:
1) I’m the admin of the site, with a list of user or email in backend; each user have a profile on the site, who can log in with user and password and see a calendar of event.
2) When i had an event in the calendar, the system automatically send an email to all the list of user to inform them of the new entry.
3) The user open the link, log in the site and can see the event on the calendar
4) At this point, the user has the possibility to check his availability on the event
5) The system send an email to admin: “the user has confirmed his availabilty for the event of…”
6) maybe should be the possibility to send mail to the user that has checking as available on the single event

Hi Davide,
It doesn’t sound like Event Espresso is suitable for your needs. EE is an online event registration system primarily for customer registration. We do not have a system in place that allows staff the ability to accept or decline an event.
You can test EE4 for yourself, over at http://demoee.org, perhaps that will provide a clearer understanding of how our system works and whether it would fit your needs or not.
