I am currently trying to remove the warning users receive when viewing an HTTPS page containing unencrypted elements. I followed the instructions in another post – https://eventespresso.com/wiki/espresso-sslhttps/.

An example of one of the pages can be viewed at https://kittlesfineart.com/event-registration/?ee=17. The elements that I can find that are not using https are the following:

  • Event calendar thumbnails
  • Facebook link in menu – have another support ticket on changing this URL
  • Google maps – After a quick search it looks like business have to pay in order to have an https connection. Should I remove the map link?

Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You could try a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/ which can help resolve unencrypted warnings.
