So I want to know how i can create of policy that will actually require someone to go to a different page to read a policy and click yes. I know that anyone can just create a check box but i want to “force” them to actually click on the page and complete an e signature. Is this possible?
That’s not something that is built into the code, as it currently exists. It’s not a very difficult thing for a developer to add in to the code in a couple hours of development time. The real problem for us doing it comes in when that new feature needs to go through the quality assurance process and then needs to be maintained indefinitely into the future. So taking on adding new features is something that we have to take seriously and put through a process to determine our best deployment of our development resources.
That all being said, the code is all open source, so you are free, and encouraged, to modify the code to suit your specific needs. Know that we cannot give support to customized code, but we will certainly help as much as we can, with reason.
If you don’t feel comfortable writing customized code yourself, then you would need to partner up with a developer. Looking at your requirements, I’d say that it’s a 80% JavaScript, probably jQuery, and 20% PHP. But it’s hard to say for certain before doing the research that is half the job. I’d guesstimate maybe 4-5 hours dev time.
