I’m managing a website that has been hacked on several occassions. Each time, I have been able to clean the infection, and have tightened security. But it is still happening. I now want to start over with a fresh installation of WordPress. I therefore need to be able to export the plugin settings (and e-mail templates, registrations, etc.). Using a WP database backup is no use in this case, as I am not sure this is safe putting back. How can I export those settings?
We don’t have a settings import/export system available (I’ll add this to our feature request list), and the event export/import in EE4 is currently non functional. If you are using EE3 you can at least export/import events and attendees.
Is there no clean version of the database that can be used? If not, the only way would be to manually copy and paste content and screen shot settings pages.
