How to choose CASH PAYMENT possibility for an event?

Hej,
when we add an event, our costumers need to be able to choose a CASH payment on the event day.

When people type in a promotion-code, everything is great, but when they want to book an event and already typed in their information, the note comes up “YOUR REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETED UNTIL THE PAYMENT IS RECEIVED!”
Where to change that? What to do?

Hi,

Event Espresso doesn’t offer a cash payment gateway as such, however many people have successfully used the Invoice or similar offline gateway to server as a Cash gateway. Most of the wording can be changed in the Gateway settings themselves. The rest you will need to use the language files to “translate” the wording.

thanks Dean! even though it is not really a good news. Because in this case you can’t even see the amount of attendees in the event overview.
Why can’t there just be a selection button at the step “payment” for cash payment?
Many people pay cash at our surf courses, that’s common.
I will try to figure out the Guide for translating wording. But the problem with the attendees in the event overview will still be the same i guess?

Hi Finja,

By the “amount of attendees” are you referring to the event capacity?

People paying by cheque or invoice gateways are always marked as Pending, and as such will count towards the event capacity.

If you are not referring to that, please explain further, using screenshots if necessary.
