Hi EE4 support,

We are wondering if there’s way to hook into your code base to add support for default WP Categories. I see that a separate event categories is registered to the event espresso post type, but we would like to have separate categories list for filtering purposes.

We are using FacetWP. We tried to use Pods framework to extend Event Espresso post type, but FacetWP filters is not picking up the categories assigned to the event post. So I’m thinking to add the support for categories through code.
