I created a private event in our site and I only want it made available for access to those with the direct permalink. How do i do this?

Click through on the permalink url delivers a “page not found” result. Currently using EE4 (http://events.wordandbrown.com/events/wbcholiday/)

You can put a robots.txt file on your site to keep that page from being indexed by search engines, and you can exclude the page from the navigation on your site. Or you could put a code in the url that you hand out to people, and use htaccess to block the page from anyone that tries to access the page without the code in the GET request. Or you could use the members add-on to block access to anyone who is not logged in, but then you have to make everyone that you send the invite to a member of the site. Can you be more clear on exactly how you want to set it up?
