I have a few questions as I am working on my first event and need help. Sorry in advance as I am sure these are probably simple.
1 – If I allow people to buy more than one ticket, there is an option to copy the basic info from the main registrant to the additional attendees. Is there a way to block that so they can’t use the main persons info? I could not see it.
2 – Is there a way to ask different question groups for different tickets? We have a ticket type where we do not need to collect the same info as our main tickets.
3 – I need to edit the registration confirmation page. We have the option of pay at the door for our tickets and that confirmation page by default asks people to send the payment. How can I edit the “owing status Message”, which I believe is where I can remove the language to please make a payment.
4 – I love the confirmation emails, however, it looks like they are sent to both the event admin and the registrant. I don’t want most of these messages to go to the admin, but I can’t find where to turn that off. I know I can remove the email completely, but I still want it to go to the person who registered.
5 – Is there a shortcake to display the count of people registered for an event?

Again, sorry for the easy questions, but I can’t seem to find these.

I don’t think that’s possible at the moment. I think it would require a complicated admin system to control something like that.

2 – Is there a way to ask different question groups for different tickets? We have a ticket type where we do not need to collect the same info as our main tickets.

That’s not a feature we have at the moment. We have this on our public roadmap, if you’d like to submit your vote for this feature: https://trello.com/c/hNQItfqT

3 – I need to edit the registration confirmation page. We have the option of pay at the door for our tickets and that confirmation page by default asks people to send the payment. How can I edit the “owing status Message”, which I believe is where I can remove the language to please make a payment.

I would recommend the Flexible Payment Methods add-on for this.

4 – I love the confirmation emails, however, it looks like they are sent to both the event admin and the registrant. I don’t want most of these messages to go to the admin, but I can’t find where to turn that off. I know I can remove the email completely, but I still want it to go to the person who registered.

You can turn off the admin notifications in the Messages Admin. Go to WP Admin > Event Espresso > Messages > Registration Approved (message) > Event Admin Recipient, then remove the shortcode in the ‘To:’ field and save the changes. Here’s a screenshot: http://www.screencast.com/t/DA0UesSz

5 – Is there a shortcake to display the count of people registered for an event?

We don’t have a specific shortcode for that at the moment. We do have a shortcode to display a list of attendees for an event: [ESPRESSO_EVENT_ATTENDEES]

Also, your registrants can see the number of people registered and tickets sold in the ticket details section of each ticket. Here’s a screenshot: http://www.screencast.com/t/6pEpqzwl

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
