I am trying to change the order of our events. We have several events happening on the same day and I want to alphabetize the list. I have tried the event list shortcodes.
These are the ones I tried: [EVENT_LIST order_by=event_name] and [EVENT_LIST order_by=event_name sort=ASC]
And I keep getting these warning messages.
Warning: preg_match() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in /home/blackhawk/www/lovemadison/sitefiles/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1604

It looks like you have used the [EVENT_LIST order_by=event_name] and [EVENT_LIST order_by=event_name sort=ASC] on the Event Registration page, is this correct?
If so, have you changed you Main Page containing the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] to something else?
The [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] is required for the plugin to work correctly. You can check the Event Espresso > General Settings > Page setting section to get a list of the core pages and their appropriate shortcodes.
No, the Main Page has not changed. It’s the Event Registration Page. Yes, I have used the event list order on this page. But it’s not putting them in the right order.
Opps. I said that wrong. The [EVENT_LIST] shortcode is on a different page. The main registration page just has [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]. When I put the [EVENT_LIST] on the other page, it shows the two warning messages that I put above.
