Hi guys,
After installing Event Espresso EE4, every time we created a post, page or amended a post or page, we were getting errors such as -> Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3072 bytes).

We found that EE4 was conflicting with Gravity Forms (no matter if Gravity Forms was set to conflict mode or not). WordPress and all plugins are up to date.

The site only functions with either plugin by itself turned on, but not together.

Help???

Hi Josh,

I tested EE4 4.6.27 and Gravity Forms 1.9.9.4 and saw no conflicts.

The message you provided relates to the server memory. Both plugins are fairly weighty, so it might just be you need to increase the memory allocation, see here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

I would up it to at least 128MB

Please note that increasing memory this way is not guaranteed: your host could still hard cap the memory limit, especially in a shared server environment. So if the memory increase doesn’t resolve it, refer to your host to clarify your memory allocation.
