Hi everyone,
sorry that i start another thread concerning this topic. But i set up a shiny new WP with EE4 but no emails are being sent by EE4. WP itself sends emails, i use SMTP Mail plugin. And i have root access on the server.
Sorry if i bother you … but i’m absolutely helpless, i went through this support forum, but found no suitable solution.
My setup:
Apache / Mysql on Linux Debian 8
PHP 7.1.4
WP 4.9.4
EE4

I forgot one: the message log of EE4 says that emails were sent. But they were definitly not as i could see in the webservers maillog.

ooops ….. as i wrote it down i found the solution myself …. the malfanction was between my ears.
The emails were *not* sent, they were waiting to be sent. So after fireing them manually they went out as they should.
Under messages – settings i changed the behavior that the messages are being sent immediately.
Now it works fine as it should.
