Hello guys, I need a solution for the scenario below? The problem is that I will need to put as a free standing application, since the owner of the site uses Joomla 1.5 and have no intentions of changing

———————————————–
1. View product (event)
Product:
1 day ticket
1 day ticket + meal
2 day ticket (meal included)
———————————————–
2. Select quantity of persons buying event ticket
———————————————–
3. create registration forms with personal fields (each client needs to be registered)
———————————————–
4. if forms validate add to Shopping Cart. (So I need to be able to do my own validation)
———————————————–
5. Select payment method (PayPal or Bank transfer).
a. If PayPal add a percentage to the total cost of tickets
b. If Bank transfer show payment procedure
(in this case ticket will be sent after validated payment).
———————————————–
6. Complete transaction and create ticket with QR-code
———————————————–
7. Send QR-code tickets vai mail to client
———————————————–

Could your plugin EE do this? And if so what would I need to buy from you? Would the business license be enough? Could this be done without having to work for days on implementing the EE plugin? Please help me out ASAP!?

Hi,

EE is a WordPress plugin so would require a WordPress installation. We do not have a Joomla version.

In theory you could create a sub site and use the JSON API plugin and API to port the data over to the other site.

Could your plugin EE do this?

Most of what you need can be done with the plugin (EE version 3) and the Multiple Event Registration & Ticketing plugins.

This: “If PayPal add a percentage to the total cost of tickets” being the main exception.

Surcharges can be added but they are not gateway specific, so it would aplly to the Bank transfer as well.

And if so what would I need to buy from you? Would the business license be enough?

Yes, the business licence would be sufficient.

Could this be done without having to work for days on implementing the EE plugin?

In general, yes. However, each use case is different so I cannot guarantee that it wont take you a few days to get up to speed or overcome any integration issues local to your setup.

If you are looking to use the JSON API, you will need developer skills and time to implement.

Thank you for your quick and excellent replay. 🙂

I have noticed that you have created apps for Android and IOS, could these be bought seperately and used for a cart that have the possability to add the percentage only to PayPal payments that I’m thinking of assembling?

Hi,

The Apps are free to download, but require the Ticketing add on (EE3 only) in order to use them. As such they wouldn’t be of much use to a separate cart system, unless you basically write your own app.

You might be better off just creating a PHP or JavaScript function to add to the EE templates, that way it could detect the gateway selection and modify the payment cost.

I have not tried that so I can’t say if it is possible or not, it’s just an idea.
