Free Registrants Missing "Finalize Registration" Button

I have three types of ticket options, and one of them waives the entry fee. When registrants pick this option and fill out all the questions, they click “Proceed to Payment Options.”

However, after they click that they get this pop-up briefly: “Attendee information submitted successfully” and under the Payment Options is the text, “This is a free event, so no billing will occur.”

A number of my registrants that know they don’t have to pay believe that this is their confirmation and are leaving the registration at this point. Of course, it’s not the end of the registration. They still have to click “Finalize Registration,” which is a small button on the lower right of the page. I have dealt with a few registrants who this happened to and luckily I was able to tell them about the Finalize Registration button, but I have no idea how many others think they’ve signed up but really haven’t. We’re bracing for a number of unregistered people to show up.

What are my options here? Can I hide the pop-up? Can I change the text that shows up? Thanks.

Hi,

Can I hide the pop-up?

Not easily.

Can I change the text that shows up? Thanks.

Yes, you can change both the pop up text and text below Step 2 by using either the language files (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-change-wording-with-poedit/) or a plugin such as Quick Localisation (http://wordpress.org/plugins/quick-localization/).

If you use the plugin, our “domain” is event_espresso
