i am using version 3.1.30.5 business licence. My question: i am using free and paid events. For the free events i would like to have the payment status on completed automatic. So the green pictogram. Now it is red. I have 150 people maximum. So i have to manually put the attendees to green in order to have the limit of 150 activated. How can i achieve this? Thanks, |

To say it more compact: i want the registration of free events to be in the way that payment status is automatically put to completed without interfering with the paid events. So only for free events. Thanks, |

Hi Evert, If the event is free the default action for the attendee in the system is to be marked as Complete (green). Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this? If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ NOTE: login details need to be Admin level. |

Is it true that the individual event setting for payment overrides the general setting? Or do you mean that with free events no matter what your setting is, that the default with free events is payment: completed. To give you a login doesn’t make much sense i checked all the settings several times and tested everything. But it stays incompleted. Any ideas? |

Hi, Yes the individual setting should over ride the general setting. Free events are marked as complete because the transaction completes (there is no payment to make thus everything closes and therefore the registration is complete). If there is a payment outstanding then the default is to mark as incomplete. With access to the site to look for other potential issues that may be interfering with the plugin, the only advice I have is to double check your settings, deactivate all plugins except Event Espresso and revert to the twentytwelve theme and test again, and keep testing bringing the theme and plugins back to active one at a time. |
