So if I press submit on registration form, it goes straight to payments without validating the mandatory fields.
Looks like no scripts are loading on page source code.

You’re correct, zero scripts are loading which is worrying as at the least WordPress scripts should load. It looks like no scripts are loading anywhere on the site.
This looks like a custom theme, could you temporarily swap to a default theme such as twentytwelve and test again. I suspect that it will work and that the problem lies in the theme you are using.

Yes definitely custom theme problem.
I added wp_head to header.php and got default WP scripts running but still a no-go.
event espresso js files not loading. Do you have any ideas? I really don’t want to start theming all over.

and yes, when i swap to twentytwelve, validation works just fine.

You’ll need to add wp_footer to the footer.
