Filter categories in admin by regional admin assignment

Hi,

I upgraded from 3.1.27 to 3.1.35 and one feature that broke was the event list in WP-admin. In the old version, we had one category assigned per regional manager, and the regional managers could only see events in their own category. After the update, the regional managers can see all events.

How can I filter the event list in WP-admin so that a regional manager only can see certain categories?

Under EE->User Permissions->Advanced Options, there is a setting for “Enable sharing of categories between users?”. Can you check if that is set to “No”.
You may want to use the “Regions” option instead to limit the events that a regional admin can see. You’ll need to apply the fix here, at least until 3.1.36 is released.
