I have spent several hours trying to figure out how to have the event featured image transferred to the WP Posts or the EE Event Posts when creating a new event. My ultimate goal is to have the events appear in a slider that features specific post categories. The post/event descriptions are showing up, but not the featured image. I am able to add events and have them show up on the calendar and the event registration. However, in order for the Featured Image to show up in the post, I have to manually edit the post and re-select the image. In other words, the featured event does not transfer over to the post.
Are there any settings that I am overlooking that caused the featured image to transfer over to the post featured images?

Hi Eric,
We are currently aware of this issue. It is on our list of items to review for possible fixes. However it is possible that this will not be resolved as EE4 uses Custom Post Types, with featured images built in, and EE4 will become our core product.
