WordPress 3.8 running Genesis – TVS theme.
EventExpresso Version 3.1.36.1.P
I’ve got an event associated with a wait list event. Everything seems to be working.
I do have one question.
The window that opens for the events is pretty short. When it opens, I can only see the first line of the first event. I need to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to the “register” button. Also, in the box that contains the event information, there is a lot of white space between the price, date (the time isn’t there) and available spaces.
My questions: First, is there a way I can eliminate some of the white space where the essential information is listed?
Second, how can I include the time of day for the event in addition to the date?
Finally, is there a way I can enlarge the window so the user can see more information before scrolling?
1) Normally, extra whitespace is due to the theme formatting content weirdly, but that would surprise me with Genesis. In fact I could not pinpoint a location where this occurred – can you provide a link to an example of this please?
2) I am assuming you mean on the event registration (event list) page? If so, then unfortunately the only way to add that in is by editing a template file.
3) I’m not sure what you mean by this, I’m assuming it has something to do with question 1. If you have a link to an example that would be great.
As an aside, I noticed (on your trailblazer site) that your featured images were overflowing out of the box on the event registration page.
Adding the following CSS to your themes style.css or better yet a plugin like My Custom CSS will fix that.
div.event-data-display {
overflow: auto;
}
