Event Import – When will it be reinstated on EE4?

My client was hoping to use this feature extensively and now I see that it has been removed. Any predictions for the future of it? Or any workarounds to automate or improve the speed of event creation? The best I’ve got is using the duplicate button.

Hi Natalie,

There’s no current timescale on when this feature will be re-instated.

EE4 is quite complex under the hood, and we are still trying to find a way to allow imports that do not require clients to have a degree in computer science to use it.

Once we have a more user friendly way to import events, we will get it released.
