I’ve read through a number of the forums\documentation and maybe I missed it, but I’m trying to figure out if this is possible in event espresso 3:
Here’s what I’m trying to accomplish:
We have multiple classes, some of which reoccur every 4 to 6 weeks.
We also have a group of instructors.
We need a way to schedule the class, allow folks to come in, register, fill
out a questionnaire and pay for it. So far, it looks like we can do all of
that with eventespresso.
Once folks are registered, is there a way to create logins for each
instructor so they can see the folks registered for the classes and email
them reminders, post class followup,etc?
I really think this is all doable with event espresso, I just couldn’t figure it out with the demo\documentation.
It depends on the level of access you want your instructors to have.
We have two plugins that might be of use: Roles & Permissions Basic and Roles & Permissions Pro.
The Basic will allow you to create an Admin level role that can be limited in their access to Event Espresso.
The Pro (requires Basic to be installed and active) allows you to create extra roles, the Event Manager and Regional Manager.
The Event Manager can only access events that they have created (the event cannot be assigned by an admin), they can also be limited access elsewhere in the plugin and have very limited site access (WordPress settings etc).
The Regional Manager can have events allocated to them as it based on venues and locales. If the event has a venue that is in the locale assigned to them, they can access it. They also have limited site access.
I hope that helps, but let me know if you need further assistance.
