Hi,

Hope you’re all okay. We have an issue getting the Event Datetimes to show in the order we want in the Event App, if I give you some more detail could you help…

We run evening courses with 10 weekly lessons at local venues. Courses exist at several levels from Beginners to Advanced. In Event Espresso we set up 10 Event Datetimes for each course. The datetimes are named, chronologically, Lesson 1 to Lesson 10. Teams at the venues use the app to register attendees.

For all levels except Beginners the event datetimes show in the Event app in chronological order from Lesson 1 to Lesson 10. However, for all the Beginner level courses we set up the App sends Lesson 1 to the end, so we have to scroll through Lesson 2 to Lesson 10 before we reach Lesson 1. We can’t figure out how to get Lesson 1 to show first.

The most obvious difference in our set-up for Beginners compared to other levels is that we offer different tickets. For all levels, we offer a course payment ticket for Lessons 1-10. However, at Beginners level we also offer a free trial ticket for Lesson 1 only, and a course payment ticket for Lesson 2-9, but I don’t understand why that would change the sort order of the event datetimes on the app. Otherwise, the event datetimes are set up in the same way for Beginner level and other levels.

Could you offer any insights?
