Hi I found this article to allow non admins to edit event espresso events.
It seems like I could get this to work but with some pains.
https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee4-editor-wp-user-show-admin-menu-or-to-manage-espresso-events/

My question is was there a filter added like Dean stated. If so how can I accomplish this. What I would like to do is add a capability that EE checks for that I can assign to different people of different roles.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Not currently. We still have an outstanding ticket for it, so it hasn’t been forgotten, but we can’t provide timescales on things like this unfortunately.

Hi,

Further to this, when 4.5 is released into beta (a month or so in very loose terms) there will be capability support in there.

If you know of/use Github you can check out the development branch but you will need to request access first – https://eventespresso.com/developers/request-repo-access/

Please note we do not always approve access, please don’t be offended if it is rejected.
