EE4 Visual Editor – not hooking custom TinyMCE Plugins

Hello,

Did EE4 do something special to the TinyMCE editor that loads as default via the CPT the_editor function?

The event’s visual editor is not loading any of the custom TinyMCE Plugins, including WooThemes’ shortcode icon.

All my other custom post types load it fine except EventEspresso’s. I notice this in the Event & Venue Custom Post Type at least.

Hi,

Not that I am aware of, though it is possible that the EE editor is stricter about what is loaded to avoid conflicts.

I tested Ultimate TinyMCE and Tiny MCE Advanced plugins and they added icons accordingly.

I also tested a theme, and while the icon failed to load, the shortcodes could be added correctly.
