I am setting up a test drive registration page for a local science-fiction convention. So far, I like what I see, but when I try to set ticket sale dates whatever I put in doesn’t stay when I update the event. If I try to set the end date beyond the end of the month the start date is in, it sets the end date the same as the start date (but at a later time). We need to sell tickets (actually, passes with name badges) from now until midnight July 13. If we can’t do that it’s a deal-breaker.

Hi Mike,
We have released a fix for that issue (EE 4.2.3), but the test drive has yet to be updated to the latest version. I will get this in front of the developers so that anyone on the test drive can get the latest version to test with.

Thanks Dean! Since it’s just a bug in the test drive, I think we’re good. We’ll be purchasing the Personal EE4 very soon.

Any update to this? I’m having the same issue. I guess the only way we can run our events right now is to leave it open until the event starts.

Hi David,
The version of EE4 we bought hasn’t had the problem. At least for us, the bug was only on the test drive version.

(BTW, this is Mike from the originating post. Craig is the one with the money, I just keep the site working!) So far, no serious issues.

Hi David,
As of today (I’m not sure when it was done) the EE version on demoee.org is 4.2.4 so that issue should be fixed now.
If the issue is on your own site, then please update to the latest version of EE4 (4.2.4).
