I have events that reoccur monthly. If I create one event and then edit it every month with the new date/time?
1) Will the prior event stay on the calendar if I use [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR show_expired=”true”]

2) And will the post name change?

I want to use the URL to create a list of all events–the names will not change.

Hi,

I would not recommend that method. Instead I would suggest duplicating the event (there’s a Duplicate button in the event editor), and edit the duplicate event with the new date & time.

By creating a new event, 1) this will work and 2) yes the name will change (a suffix of ****DUPLICATE**** is added so you are aware you are editing a duplicate) but it can be edited to be the same as the previous event should you wish (note WordPress will add numbers if the slugs are the same).
