Missing editor tabs and editor errors are usually down to a plugin conflict, normally a plugin that affects the editor (such as, and no blame to this plugin, WP Edit). It could be something else, but that’s usually a good place to start.
As such, can you disable, temporarily, all other plugins except EE and see if the issue persists.
I have isolated to the cforms plugin. It’s an oldie from before I worked on the site and only one form is still using it. Everything else is on Gravity forms or custom built. So am happy to update this last one for consistency and get rid of cforms.
