I do apologise in advance, however searching for this issue only found issues that are like but not the same, so none really answered my question so I thought I would post it directly. I’ve also searched Google and read most everything I could about it before posting here.

All I want to do is use a third party landing page and enable the “Register Now!” button to come through to the EE4 payment page. It would be a nice to have if somehow, it could arrive with a variable ticket quantity.

I’m thinking this is a pretty standard requirement and I’m a little bit stumped. I have found evidence that EE3 could do it, but this functionality was removed in EE4.

I hope you can help, it’s the last issue I need to clear before costing up a project that includes third party landing page and Infusionsoft integration.

Thanks in advance.

Regards, Shane.

Hi,

“I do apologise in advance” Thanks for your due diligence, it’s appreciated, but no need to apologise, it’s what we are here for!

Right now, it’s possible to do it the other way (from EE4 to a third party landing page), but the way you want it might be difficult.

We are currently working on the EE4 API but it is not yet released even as Beta. (You can request Github access if you want to test it out, but bear in mind it’s very much Alpha -thus potentially buggy – and requires a specific, unreleased, branch of EE4 core, rather than the standard EE4 release).

Github access request: https://eventespresso.com/developers/request-repo-access/
Please note not all requests are granted access.

This API might be what you are looking for, but will require developer knowledge to implement.

Other than that the closest you could get would be to link to the actual event page, with a $_GET query string and then have a plugin/function that modifies the jQuery object containing the event data (ticket numbers). From recent experience, I think that it’s possible, but quite fiddly – I couldn’t get it to work fully in the limited time I played with it.
