Hi,
I’m struggling to export EE4 event data for use in another WP site. I’ve exported all the events using the wordpress’s own export tool “/wp-admin/export.php”.
When I import (/wp-admin/import.php) them into my new site all the entries are created however each entry is missing the previously defined Venue Details, Event Datetimes and Available Tickets.
Can help explain the process to export ALL event data from EE4?

Hi Jamie,
While EE4 events are posts, and can be exported using the standard WP export tool, WP will not export the additional data associated with the events, as a lot of it is contained in database tables.
Currently EE4 does not have an export events tool, nor an import tool, so you cannot transfer events from one site to another like that.
The only way at the moment would be to transfer the entire database from one site to another. Of course you will also get the posts/pages/settings etc from the original site too which may not be ideal.
We are working on a built in import/export system for EE4, but I cannot provide a timeline for when this will be available.
