Hi i just wrote this topic but got an error so i’ll try again,
I am using the last version of wp 3.9.2 and i am using EE 3.1.36.5.P.
Now before i updated to the latest version of both, the event espresso pages and buttons, notices etc. were in English, now after the update everything changed in Dutch. I don’t want the info on the website to be in Dutch, how can i change the settings so everything will go back to English again?
I don’t use a translation plugin so that can’t be it.

ps. i do would like to keep using the wordpress dashboard in Dutch, so changing the config.php file in define lang = english is not really an option for me.

Hi Pim,
What’s probably happened is that the plugin has detected your site is in Dutch and automatically downloaded the Dutch language files.
These should be in wp-content/uploads/espresso/languages.
Deleting them will revert the plugin back to English.

Hi,
i went in my ftp files and went to the folder you said, but there is nothing in there. Only a index.php file which is empty, so i can’t delete the Dutch files:(
Is there anything else i can do?

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?
If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/
NOTE: login details need to be Admin level and FTP details are appreciated.

Looks like the EE translation file was downloaded by the system to plugins/event-espresso/languages. I deleted it, and the EE menus, etc, switched back to English.<br>
