We have noticed that recently the Event Espresso plugin registering people properly, it creates duplicate entries in the database (for Attendees) and the confirmation page displays blank and they cannot continue on to the payment page.
Following another post on this site, I updated all plugins and WordPress, I also updated Event Espresso from 3.1.24 -> 3.1.29.1, I then disabled all plugins and it was working again. Then I re-enabled them a few at a time, testing each time if the problem was fixed, until they were all re-enabled… and it was still working. Then I realised that the JetPack was not connected and the stats were not being recorded… so re-enabled that and Event Espresso is broken again. Disconnect JetPack from WordPress and rego works fine again.
So it would appear there is a conflict between JetPack and EventEspresso, is this enough info for you to investigate further?

We are aware of the Jetpack conflict, and the dev’s have been working on a solution for a while which is being released in the next version due out shortly.
In the meantime you can either roll back the version of Jetpack or turn off the Publicize and Sharing modules.
