I have set up a new event called “Convention” with the appropriate ticket prices and everything is functioning as it should. I am trying to figure out how to add 2 options.
Current Setup
Quad Room for $195
Double Room for $285
Couple Special for $460
Each of these are ticket prices..For Quad and Double…I have up to 3 or 4 lines for places to add a roommate.
For the couple special…I am trying to figure out, how to obtain the 2nd party’s info (i.e. name, age, etc) (not a priority issue, but a clean way to know would be great)
Main Priority issue – A user selects a room option…The user would like to donate an amount in addition to what the user is paying for the room. Donations are fixed amounts. The user can choose from the following options
No Donation
$5 Donation
$10
$25
$50
$100
$200
How can I add this feature/question to the registration form? Thanks!

I would suggest checking out the Pre Release plugin, Price Modifier. It allows you to add a question to the registration form that will modify the ticket price. I think it will work well with the donations. It could also be used for the room mate situation.

If they are not a registrant as such then the only way would be via questions. As we dont currently have conditional questions, the questions would either be visible with a note that they only relate to the rooms or you could use javascript to hide the questions until that ticket option is selected.
