Is there a way to require that 2 different types of tickets be in the shopping cart prior to applying a volume discount? We have 2 types of VIP tickets. We are offering a discount if the purchaser buys both types of tickets. Right now I have it setup as a promo code, but we are finding that people are entering the code and taking the discount even though they have only purchased one type of ticket. I have looked at setting up volume discount based upon meta tags and this seems like the direction to possibly go, but not sure.

Hi, the only way to do that would be to have the tickets as separate events and use the categories to allocate them as volume discount events. Then you could use the meta tags to enforce the discount.
There are a couple of issues with the meta tags and volume discounts that will be resolved in the next release (3.1.31.4) so you may wish to hang on till that.
