September 17, 2014 at 10:34 am Hi EE Team, I have been asking quite a few questions and really appreciate you alls help. I have another set of questions. If you prefer a separate ticket for each topic just let me know and I’ll keep that in mind for next time. 1. For the date range plugin, How do I have it only display events that are available to add to cart. I have events that people aren’t able to sign up for more than 30 days in advance and I dont want them displayed in the date range plugin if they cant register. (http://screencast.com/t/okuUknlsiU2z) 2. since registration isn’t really on a separate page (i guess it generates code on the page), how do I only have the date range plugin displayed if the viewer is logged in. (http://screencast.com/t/UTN3iN5oHVck) 3. I removed past events within wp-admin so the database doesn’t bloat but apparently they still stay in the database even though I removed them within the event espresso event settings. Any way around this other than removing them directly from the DB. Which I have done and isn’t the biggest deal. 4. When people users are logged in and view their upcoming events they can see when they have not paid. It shows a little exclamation mark (http://screencast.com/t/AlccsI6i). When you click the exclamation mark it just takes you to a “Nothing Found” page (http://screencast.com/t/47wSU1MMtLSU). Is there anyway I can set that to go to the cart or payment page? |

Hi, We do prefer individual questions to have their own forum thread, especially if they are on different subjects or areas. It helps us keep the threads to the point and not get confused, and also allows other users to find information more easily. 1) The date range template uses the EVENT_LIST shortcode as a base, and there isn’t a way to stop future events from showing, barring limiting the number of events shown. 2) If you are using a membership plugin, have you tried wrapping the shortcode in a membership shortcode to hide content from logged out users? 3) Yes. In the event overview select Deleted from the filter list. The deleted events show then show. From there you can select the and click the Permanently Delete Events button. Screenshot http://take.ms/dSfQI 4) It should take them to the Payment Overview screen. Can you try “flushing” your permalinks by going the Settings > Permalinks and pressing save. |

Awesome! Everything answered. I’ll open individual tickets from now on. Thanks again, Dmitri |
