We have got the Event Table running great on our site, on one page – but on another page we want to format it a little different – show featured image, remove background colors, etc.
I’m wondering how I can do the customizations as described here:
(https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/6202e12ab276c08fc9dd ) without having it effect both tables…
We were trying to use the plugin Content Views – which is really awesome and got us exactly what we want: http://prntscr.com/ihfg17
But it doesn’t allow us to sort by the event date time – just by when the event was added.
Can you recommend a direction for us?

Hi there,
We have some documentation on making customizations to the table template here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/events-table-view-template-add-on/#customizations
I believe you can tell the system which template file to load via the event table shortcode parameter, which is template_file. So your shortcode would look something like this (be sure to change YOUR_CUSTOM_TEMPLATE_NAME):
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE template_file=YOUR_CUSTOM_TEMPLATE_NAME.template.php]
