Conflict with "Event" Plugin

I’m using a theme which has its own basic “events” functionality and there seems to be conflicts between the theme and Espresso. For example, I want to create an event in my theme (it formats it nicely) and then link to an event in Espresso. Is there a way to change the “root” directory in Espresso from “events” to “espresso” or something like that?

Hi Roy,

Which version of Event Espresso are you using?

I’m guessing EE4, in which case you can use this guide to change the Custom Post Type slug for Event Espresso: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/change-events-cpt-slug/
