I would like to use my one-column page template instead of the default page template for the event pages. How can I change this?
Currently it is displaying the two column default (http://nicolebandes.com/event-registration/?ee=1) and I want it to display like the home page with no sidebar.

Hi,
I would check the Page Templates for the Page (edit a page, right hand sidebar box that says Page Attributes) that has the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on it (default is Event Registration).
Generally a theme will provide different templates that can be used to change the layout of the page. I would look for Full width or No Sidebar or similarly named template, select it and update the page.
