Hi.

I am entering some attendees to my events, and I entered an attendee in the admin area manually for a single event, one person, whose fee is $10.00.

Because I had another attendee who paid in person for all 7 events at once, I was entering them on the front end live site so I could add all the events in one transaction.

Once I completed the selection and the attendee information, I confirmed registration and it showed me my payment summary.

Please see the image to see what has happened. It added the manually entered attendee to the cart for the person who paid and registered for all 7 tournaments on the live site. They are not even the same event. It did NOT register the person twice (the Euchre Night – LEISURE attendee for $10) it seems to only want to add the payment for the attendee entered manually to the online multi-registration. Also, the manually entered registrant was already marked as completed transaction and paid, so there is also that secondary error of it putting in despite the fact she has paid. She shouldn’t be there, period, but also she is there in error even though she is paid

Now, he has been sent a confirmation email of this registration, and he’s going to see this error. I want to make sure this doesn’t happen again, as it will be chaos with people registering online – I don’t want anyone else getting this kind of mistake.

I am not sure if it does anything odd like this with a single event transaction – just the multi-event registration.

Please help fix this right away.

I’m using EE version 3.1.30.4P, MER version 1.0.2

Thanks
R

Just an additional piece of information, if in the payment overview I click edit cart, the wrong additional attendee for Leisure is NOT in the cart to even remove the registrant. It’s like its a phantom, except in the cart total.

Hi,

We have never come across this before, and I have not been able to recreate it locally using the latest versions.

Have you been able to recreate it?

The only thing I can think that it could be is that you said you are using version 1.0.2 of MER, in which case this is quite an old version. The most recent version 1.0.4 has been around since July 2012.

I would suggest updating.

I have not been able to recreate it, but really don’t want to recreate it lol

I bought MER but can not see where I can download the latest version/update. I trust that updates are included when one purchases the add-on? When I go into the forum for MER, it gives me the warning : “your access to content on this page is restricted because it requires the purchase of: Multiple Event Registration, and Personal License”

I did purchase it. Can you help with the upgrade of MER?

THanks

Hi,

Updates are available so long as you purchase a licence (lasts 1 calendar year) and I cant see the purchase on my end, so I will ask Sales to look into it and we will get back to you asap.
