I decided to migrate from EE3 to EE4. Now when< I select number of tickets and click on Register button, it brings me back to the View Event page. There is no way to purchase ticket. Here is link to my site http://bostondesiconnection.com/events/comedy-with-kapil-and-family/

Well, after playing around for a couple of hours, I figure out the issue. I was using page “Events Checkout” with shortcode [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT] but EE4 seems to have View Events hard coded. Once I change the Page name to View Events, it started working. Why it cannot be any page name user choose? Why page must be View Events?

Hi,
You can use other pages with the core shortcodes, you just need to do 2 things:
1) Make sure that the core shortcode doesn’t exist on any other pages
2) Go to General Settings > Critical Pages tab > make sure the page with the shortcode on is set here. This enables the plugin to know what page to use for registration etc.
