We are developing a website that lists multi-day events and we plan to use Event Espresso. The website will allow companies to login and edit their own events. Users will come to the site to browse events primarily. Most users will access the site by mobile phone so it will be “responsive” in layout.

Can Event Espresso do the following:
1. Companies will login and add/edit/update ONLY their events. (not sure if we also need https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-permissions-pro/)
2. Advanced Search/Filter: Events are searchable by all categories including attributes such as opening date and closing date
3. Google Map listing is integrated for each listing
4. Detect user location and save in cookie for future visits or allow “favorite location”
5. Do you have trusted developers you would recommend for customizations?
6. Costs are One-time and not monthly? How does support work?

Yes this is possible but your would need the Roles and Permissions plugins (Basic and Pro – Pro for the functionality and Basic as it is a requirement for Pro).

Registration and login is not handled by Event Espresso.

The search functionality is currently limited to the event name and venue

Yes, so long as a venue is setup and allocated and the options set, you can have a Google map showing on the events.

This is not supported by Event Espresso.

  1. Costs are One-time and not monthly? How does support work?

Costs are yearly. The cost covers you for the plugin and one year of support and updates. Once your licence expires you are free to continue to use the plugin but support and updates cease. We do offer good discounts on renewal.

Support is done via the forum and documentation.

We do offer additional services such as Priority Support Tokens, and Customisations. These incur additional costs but are completely optional.
