Our calendar on sequoiagallerystudios.org has showing events and I’m having trouble figuring out why. The events pages still show events so we know that the problem is contained to the calendar.
We’ve attempted disabling all other plugins to eliminate the possibility of a conflict. We’ve also updated to the most recent version of Event Espresso: 4.4.4p and have Event Calendar 3.1.0p installed.
Event Espresso requires at least jQuery 1.8.3, but we recommend using the latest version that ships with WordPress (1.11.1 as of current WP 4.0).
Your WordPress version is slightly out of date but that should not be an issue as that version still had a higher version of jQuery than the minimum we require.
As such either your theme (the most likely culprit) or a plugin has de-registered the default jQuery and decided to load its own, older version of jQuery.
You can test this by using a plugin such as Theme Test Drive to test a default theme such as Twentytwelve (using that plugin only you see the theme change, not your visitors).
With a default theme in place, check the calendar to see if it is functioning correctly. If it is, the theme is to blame.
If it still fails to function, you may need to disable your plugins to see if that makes it work.
