I know that its possible to set registration times so that registration for several events ‘turns on’ at the same time, but I’m looking to have our events be hidden and then appear on the calendar all at the same time. We have around 60 events every month, and currently we launch them by enabling them one class at a time. The classes are hidden (and secret) before they appear on the calendar. Registration is allowed as soon as they are displayed. I am looking to streamline that process by finding a way to display all of the classes at once.

I can select a group of events from the Event Overview page in wordpress but I can’t do anything other then delete them or export their data. So I don’t think I can do anything in the Event Overview page.

I think that I need to bulk change either the ‘event status’ from Draft to Public or ‘is this an active event’ from No to Yes. But the key is to be able to change several classes all at once. Updating all of the repeating event is helpful but I’m looking to update all of our events for the month at the same time.

If there is another way to hide events on the calendar I am also interested in that.

We post classes for the next month on the second to last monday of the current month. I thought about turning off the go to future month button on the calendar so that people couldn’t navigate to the next month and register while we built the classes. But the new classes would appear in the upcoming events widgets so that wouldn’t work. And any classes that happened in the first few days of the month would also appear on the calendar.

you can view the calendar pages

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Noah,

We don’t have a bulk edit function, so mass changing the event status will be tough. You *could* do it directly in the database but that’s risky.

One other way would be to not have the events created and then import the events instead.

In EE4 we will have a better drafting system and also the ability to schedule but still no bulk editing.
