basicWeek vs agendaWeek – disabling one?

We have a calendar on our site where we’re starting with basicWeek for the cal_view… however, if you click “week” for the calendar view, it loads up agendaWeek.

Is there a way to make sure the “Week” view also shows basicWeek?

I can’t find anything in various searches on this site or google on the matter. Vague terms.

Hi Toni,

I’m not sure which version of EE you are using, so:

EE3

Go to the Calendar Settings menu page and scroll down to find the Advanced Settings section.

In the Header Style Left area, find the Right input field.

It should contain “month, agendaWeek, agendaDay, next”, change the agendaWeek to basicWeek and save the settings.

EE4

Go to the Calendar menu and click the Advanced Settings tab. In the Header Style Left area, find the Right input field.

It should contain “month, agendaWeek, agendaDay, next”, change the agendaWeek to basicWeek and save the settings.

Yes, we were using EE3. That’s good to hear. I’ll make that setting change. I don’t know how I missed that the first time.
