Hi, Before purchase your plugin I have to know below main uses cases are compatibly with your product First of I would to give brief introduction what is our service. We would to create an event infrastructure that event owner can create their event/s (with require information). Other side participant can find or search from list and can register (paid or free) to event. Uses Cases for Event Owner – Basic Uses Cases for Participant – Basic Most important part is all those has to be a separated page then WordPress. EventOwner or Participant has NOT to see any WordPress Dashboard Please reply this with which license type can cover above request and (if its available) share document links Thanks in advance |

Hi, OK, so I believe this will be possible, though because of the constraint of not allowing the Event Owner to access the dashboard, some features may be limited. You would need to have access to the WP User Integration (Members) addon from the Business Licence (or purchased separately). You will also need the Roles and Permissions Basic (Business Licence or separate) and the Roles and Permissions Pro (Developer Licence or separate). These addons are currently only available for Event Espresso 3. WP User Integration will allow your users to (once logged in) track their previous registrations. This can be done from the front end via a shortcode on a post or page. WP User Integration can also stop events from being registered for unless the user is logged in. Roles and Permissions Pro will allow your users to create events, and with a Beta addon (Front End Manager) they can create events from the front end. Please note that some event features are not available from the front end. Also they will not be able to edit the event, track registrations etc. If you need the Event Owners to be able to do that, then they will need access to the dashboard. With Roles and Permissions Pro, you can give them the Event Manager role. They will only see Event Espresso related items in the dashboard and also only the parts of Event Espresso you give them access to – e.g. just the event and attendee overview. You would also need a third party membership plugin to handle access to the pages that contain the front end event form, etc. One aspect that you would need to handle via the membership plugin or another system is the Event Owners landing page. You would likely need to create a custom page template that pulls in the correct information. You can add an Event Espresso shortcode that will display events from a set list such as by category (I would recommend the Event Owners to add a category to each event such as their business name). However Event Espresso does not have a system in place to log their business data from the Event Owner. We have the Staff/Speaker feature that could be used, but it can only be used by the admin (unless you allow an Event Manager access but then they will have access to ALL staff/speakers, so probably not ideal for your use case). Pricing – https://eventespresso.com/pricing/ I hope that helps, but please let me know if you have further questions or need clarification. |
