I am using this plug in for a client who runs training courses. The have just decided they would like to give a discount to people who book two courses that run on consecutive days. Is there a way I can set up an auto discount? If not Are you aware of a plug in that will achieve this?
I considered setting up a separate event for both courses so I could set the price, however I am not confident this will work for my client as they only have a very small number of spaces for the course and it would possibly mean that they will become over booked.
I assume you are using EE4, so correct me if I’m wrong please.
If these are separate events then no there isn’t a way in EE4 to provide a discount, as EE4 doesn’t allow multiple event booking yet, plus the discount addon is still being made.
If the courses are under one event then yes it is possible.
What I would do is set up 3 tickets:
Ticket A for Day 1 (e.g. $100)
Ticket B for Day 2 (e.g. $100)
Ticket C for Both Days (e.g. $150)
And 2 Datetimes:
Day 1
Day 2
Ticket A would link to datetime Day 1, ticket B to datetime Day 2 and ticket C to both datetimes.
You can then set the datetimes capacity limit. If capacity for Day 1 is reached, Tickets A and C will stop selling, if day two is reached B and C stop selling.
