I am using the email template tags for users to be able to edit their information via the link they get in the confirmation email. This link seems to be opening a new about:blank tab instead of the page it should go to. This is what I see in code:
<p>You can edit your information here: <a href="http://?r_id=36-5285222b2597f&id=6&event_id=36&edit_attendee=true&single=true" title="Edit Attendee Details" target="_blank">Edit Registration Details</a></p>
Have you seen this behavior before? It’s like the site_url variable didn’t load or something.
I haven’t seen that issue before. What email tag are you using exactly? Where are you placing it (as in, the General Setting, Email manager or elsewhere)?
Hmm its set correctly, but its page visibility is set to PRIVATE. That’s probably what it is, Ill have to try it again when we go live with this feature.
Yes the Private issue is likely the problem. All Event Espresso core pages need to be publicly accessible (i.e. not draft, not private, not password protected) even if they are not visible on the site menu.
