Hi – we just upgraded to 4.2.9. Since upgrading, on the payment options page where the paypal logo should be, there is just a small blank rectangle. The link to paypal is coded into the blank rectangle, but no logo. I have tested on both Chrome and Safari for Mac. The logo is not appearing at the bottom of the page as some have experienced.
I have tried the following:
1. emptying all caches in WP and my browsers. Logging out. Doing test registrations.
2. replacing the link to the Paypal logo in EE settings to a logo I just uploaded.
3. Putting [raw][/raw] around the shortcode. This weirdly results in the closing [/raw] showing up on the page served to readers even though I entered it in text view.

Update – it seems this is only happening on my computer. I checked a friend’s mac in both Safari and Chrome, and the button appears to be fine.

Hi,
Yes I can confirm the button looks fine here too.
If the cache clear doesn’t work (it should!) perhaps re-save the PayPal options in the Payment Settings page.
