I refunded a registrants transaction so that his balance is $0.00 but when I return to the event listing, the registration is still locked and I am unable to delete it. See screenshot. The only way I am allowed to delete the registration is if I delete the entire payment history from the transaction, which wipes out my record of the transaction and the refund. Am I doing something wrong? I using Event Espresso 4.4.8p
No you are not doing anything wrong. A Registration can only be deleted if there transaction is first deleted as they are linked.
You can however change the registrations status, in fact by applying a refund in the transaction it does default the registration to Cancelled, unless you over rode this when applying the refund.
Cancelled registrations do not count towards an events sales/capacity.
