I see that events are handled as a post type, with predefined fields such as event start date and time, price etc.
Thing is, I need to capture much more information about my sporting events, such as
Goody Bag Included?
Fastest Time For 10Km Race
Fastest Time For 21km Race
Number of Wter Points
etc.
1. As my website is not about event registrations but rather to list comprehensive event information, how do I go about providing the additional information I need per event, so race organisers that create their event, can capture all of such information?
2. The Event Listing UI of Event Espresso is really not good. Are you working on a better UI or can you suggest a way to better list all events?
1) The premium version has custom meta fields that can be used to add extra data in to the events, or simply use the event description. If you are trying to get information from the attendees, then use the Questions/Question Groups to create registration form options.
2) Lite comes completely unstyled so the them will be styling the events list etc. You can add additional CSS to modify the look to what you want. In the Premium version, it comes bundled with jQuery UI Themeroller for easy styling.
Is there something in particular regarding the UI?
